Intern Counsellors
We are currently accepting applications to begin a Practicum in 2024 for Graduate Intern Counsellors. Please read below and submit applications as per these guidelines.
At Jericho Counselling Clinic, part of our mission is to provide affordable service to the community and we meet this through continued involvement with educating the ‘next generation’ of counselling therapists. We collaborate with many Graduate Counselling programs to provide clinical opportunities for their students to gather experience with clients out in the real world.
The Graduate Intern Counsellor program at Jericho Counselling brings in a number of new interns each year, for 12 month placements. These interns are handpicked by our Intern Counsellor Supervision Team, partly because of their previous life and work experience, which will ensure a high quality counselling experience for clients working with our intern team.
